Our top ten camping spots in Ireland this summer!

So we are keeping along the theme of going Galavanting for less in Ireland this summer. Did you know that there are over 70 camping/caravan sites in Ireland. They range in price from €10 per unit to €50 per unit per night. Considerably lower than renting a holiday home or hotel room and lets face it- its great fun! As I said in last weeks blog, its a lot easier to pack up the car with everything you need, no need to squish everything into a 10kg bag, no need to seperate all your liquids into tiny bottles and with all our new fancy roads, you aren’t very far from anywhere in this beautiful country. Glen of Aherlow Caravan and Camping Park, Co Tipperary

Situated in the middle of the beautiful Glen of Aherlow with the Galtee Mountains as your backdrop, this camping park is perfect for all of you Galavanters who love to go walking and trekking. Barleycove Holiday Park, Co Cork

Situated close to the most southerly tip of Ireland in Crookhaven, this holiday park is in one of the most picturesque parts of Ireland. Sandy beaches, mizen head and amazing walks greet you here. Situated within walking distance from the bustling town of Westport in Co Mayo, this park is close to the amazing Croagh Patrick, the pretty little harbour village of Newport, The great western greenway and of course its situated in Wesport house and adventure park itself.
